In the business division of glassmicrostructures, boraident develops laser appliances for structuring glass surfaces. Apart from the engineering, we also produce small and medium series of microstructures and optical devices in glass with standard or individual layouts for the fields of industrial image processing, optical measuring, laser technology and sensor systems.
 
Examples of microstructured products  are calibration and test plates, counting patterns, scales, and cell finders.
 

Our singular and patented technologies PrecisionColor® and UniColor® create micron and submicron-precise structures on and beneath the glass surface. All named technologies guarantee high mechanical and chemical resistance.
 

Our expertise is in developing and manufacturing microstructures that suit your specific measuring task. Due to the direct scribing process, customer-specific orders of microstructures are available at an excellent price-performance ratio, even for single pieces and small series.
